Absolute Natural Reserve at Cabo Blanco has crystal clear streams all year round and teems with a breathtaking abundance of marine life, birds, flora and fauna.

Sunset Reef offers, through Pacific Divers, a variety of exclusive diving expeditions with a licensed dive master or instructor. A five day diving workshop is available for PADI diving certification. Snorkeling expeditions with equipment provided by the lodge are also available.

Anglers can fish for dorado, rooster fish, shark, marlin, and tuna with a local fishing guide abord our own fishing boat.

Mal Pais is home to some of the largest and most consistent surf in Costa Rica! Oh, and don't forget to experience some warm water, ocean kayaking, right from our own beach. Guests can also enjoy walks along the beach, mountain bike rides in Mal Pais and guided horseback excursions to the surrounding mountains. This adventure culminates with a picnic lunch near a dramatic 120 foot waterfall.
